The launch of the first Mercedes-Benz on sale in 2025 is approaching. There's a luxury version of the Maybach in the pipeline, but for now, the latest roadster is only available as an AMG. This bodes well for the future of Mythos branded luxury cars. Dealers may expect the Maybach-badged SL to be the first vehicle to hit the road. Under the Mythos sub-brand, the German luxury carmaker makes "ultra-exclusive collectible cars". The marketing campaign will target "the most dedicated Mercedes-Benz fans and collectors" due to limited production of the vehicle. This vehicle competes with Aston Martin, Bentley, and perhaps even Ferrari and McLaren. The goal of the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach SL Mythos Series is to create the ultimate high-performance and luxury vehicle. It elevates the already outstanding Mercedes-Maybach SL to a new level by adding a number of unique design features. What highlights the uniqueness of this vehicle are the spectacular LED headlights. The Mythos emblem will be intricately carved into the paint, giving the hood a unique and eye-catching appearance. The removal of the rear seats is another striking modification. Thus, the SL was transformed from a grand tourer into a genuine roadster that prioritizes driving fun. With the rear seats gone, the rear design could become more aggressive, with a smaller windshield and a speed bump placed behind the seats. The first “Mythos” model was originally scheduled to launch in 2025, but according to reliable sources, a small group of customers will be given an exclusive preview in June before the official debut. An estimate of $175,000–$225,000 is the price range for the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach SL Mythos Series. One of its tough rivals is likely to be the 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 603 horsepower and 800 Newton-meters of torque. It will be paired with Mercedes' latest 4MATIC all-wheel-drive technology and a 9-speed automatic transmission. With its incredible acceleration and luxurious ride, the Mythos SL will be a true terror on the road.
