Billecart-Salmon is a Champagne house located in the village of Mareuil-sur-Aÿ in the Cote des Blancs sub-region of Champagne. Founded in 1818 after the marriage of Nicolas François Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon.
This cuvée is a blend combining Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier with Pinot Noir vinified as red wine. It is often considered a reference point among rose champagnes.
