Nothing like the standard Texas Special sets, these handwound versions are clear, detialed and full of character. Not available to buy separately, the only way to get hold of these things is wait until people pull them out of Custom Shop strats.

Not only are they vasty better than the standard set, these are some of the best Fender pickups I've tried. Just under 6k with plenty of mid punch, the enamal wire adds a nice clarity and zing to every note while never getting harsh.
