So you haven't read "Long Way Down" by Jason Reynolds? It's a story of REVENGE or more like the personal journey someone must take when seeking revenge. As our young antagonist's brother has been shot and they're faced with a heavy choice to make after his death, in this young adult fiction novel that is breaking the molds. Using free verse, which is like a stand-alone poem, and cleaver structure elements to inspire the reader to think for themselves in this story.
