I decided to compare my Sky-Watcher Explorer 200p Reflector and Sky-Watcher Evostar 120mm achromat refractor to see how they compared for Lunar imaging. I captured both images on the same night and processed them equally - I've included my processing workflow at the end of the video if anyone needs to check anything or learn how to process images.
I tend to use a Semi Apo filter with the Evostar 120 to remove some chromatic aberration when looking at or imaging bright objects like the Moon or planets. I used the Semi Apo filter for this comparison.
Both telescopes cost about the same and have the same focal length therefore I think it's a good comparison. More information about these telescopes and equipment used below (Affiliate Links)
