Today we went for a little walk in the snow. Ireland does not usually experience this type of extreme weather and can't cope that well. We are just not that prepared.
Firstly we had Siberian snow and then Storm Emma hit. We were in one of the Red alert areas. We didn't venture out until the winds calmed down. Many people are completely snowed in. The roads are impassable with 4ft-10ft snow drifts in places. Luckily we don't need to go anywhere so we decided to make the most of this rare event and spent the day walking, playing and having fun in the snow.
