The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) released an audio tape of a phone call on the purported clandestine attempt by the Bharatiya Janata Party to kidnap four TRS MPs on Thursday afternoon, but it raised a lot of questions. The 13-minute audio tape features a chat between Ramachandra Bharathi, also known as Satish Sharma, of Faridabad, and Pilot Rohit Reddy, a TRS assemblyman from the Tandur district. Another suspect, Nanda Kumar, also joined the conference call. According to the audio clip, Ramachandra Bharathi offered to meet Rohit Reddy in Hyderabad to finalise the "deal" before the November 3 by-election in Munugode. Ramachandra Bharathi claimed to be closer to the senior BJP officials and that he had dealt with many such issues in the past.
