In October 2014 Biomark pit-tagged 15,000 yearling spring Chinook salmon at the Chief Joseph Hatchery in Bridgeport, WA. This tagging was completed in order to assist the Colville Tribe with their annual research, monitoring and evaluation (RM&E) of Chinook salmon within the Columbia River Basin. The migration of these fish will be monitored and used to evaluate the smolt to adult returns (SAR) and straying rates.
