Home to the third largest economy worldwide, it's well known for its beautiful culture, delicious food, sprawling cities and much more. But many people don't know that Japan has a huge issue with maintaining its population. Japan's birthrate is so low that the country may lose a THIRD of its population in the next 40 years. As Japan's citizens age, unique issues are presenting themselves that threaten the country's economic and global standing on the world stage.
