Recorded 16 and 17/11/25, 24/3/26. Donald Manildi in his notes calls this a "pioneering" recording. I can find no reference for an earlier complete performance of this sonata. (Percy Grainger was first to record the complete 3rd sonata, also in 1925.) Manildi writes that "De Greef's recording cost him considerable effort, ----and the penultimate side required no fewer than 12 takes before the results were acceptable."
