Chef Dom shares Daddy Jack’s New England Clam Chowder recipe, but with added bacon. This was a very popular soup at the restaurant and enjoyed by many, many patrons. New England Clam Chowder normally includes clams, potatoes, onions, salted pork and heavy cream. The addition of dairy is the main difference from other clam chowders. New England Clam chowder was first eaten by folks in the 1700s and is a true American staple.
