A lot of women have questions about the return of their period after having an IUD removed. It's normal to see a little bit of unscheduled spotting or bleeding after it's removed, and then after a month or two, your body should start resuming normal cycles. If a couple of months have gone by and you haven't started a period, it would be best to first take a home pregnancy test to either rule out or confirm that it's the cause. Some women never have a period after having their IUD out because they get pregnant. You can actually get pregnant as soon as the IUD is removed because it never suppresses ovulation. So as soon as you get it out, let's say you ovulate days to weeks later, you could get pregnant if you time intercourse just right with ovulation.
If a couple months has gone by and you take a home pregnancy test and rule that out as the cause for not having a period, continue to watch your bleeding patterns. And if a total of 3 months has gone by without a period, then call your doctor. And after asking you more specific questions and taking their knowledge of your history into account, then they'll be able to decide if further investigation is warranted, especially if you're trying to have another baby. Good luck with everything, and if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at [ Ссылка ], and recommend us to your friends and family too.
