Dave East is no stranger to our Brooklyn Ctrl studio. In 2019, the Harlem rapper pulled up and put us on to his star-studded ‘Survive’ album. Both “Mama I Made It” and “Everyday” sizzled with that signature Dave East clip. Needless to say, it’s great to have him back again. His new ‘HOFFA’ album boasts only one producer: Harry Fraud, the mixtape prince who’s worked with Big Apple luminaries Action Bronson and French Montana. Concrete jungle grit oozes out of ‘HOFFA.’ Your ears will be ringing after just one listen of this “Just Another Rapper” sesh. Come back again soon, Dave.
