Today started out as a quintessential day of streamer fishing for smallmouth bass. These bronze bruisers were called up from the depths to eat my double gonga, and I even had a largemouth join in on the fun. But as the day grew old, I turned my attention to a much larger, stronger, and more elusive river beast... the grass carp.
