Here is a KFDM 6 News Open from the CBS affiliate in Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, Texas (Golden Triangle in Southeast Texas). All copyrights acknowledged. Features a theme with a deep synth note start similar to that of the Disney Home Video Sorcerer Mickey logo that was used from around this time until the early 1990s. The opening mentions (Cecile) Burandt, (Albert) Zipp, (Greg) Bostwick with Weather, and (Brian) Jensen with Sports. Said synth theme was in use until at least late 1987 and is most likely the same as the one in NMSA labeled "KFDM Early 1987 News Theme."
