Earlier today, there was an interview posted between ALS patient and Medicare for All Advocate Ady Barkan and Joe Biden. During that interview, Barkan made it clear that if Joe Biden really believes healthcare is a right, not a privilege, the only way to get it done is with a universal single-payer model like Medicare for All.
But Biden continued to defend a private model that leaves millions without insurance and many with debt, including those with supposedly good plans.
And while Ady Barkan Endorsed Joe Biden and his campaign in this interview, he still demonstrated how bankrupt his approach to healthcare is. This is still the man who would veto medicare for all
