Michio Kaku (Japanese: ミチオ カク or 加来 道雄) a futurist, co-founded string field theory, a subset of string theory, popularizer of science, and theoretical physicist, as well as a bestselling author and media personality. He is a renowned professor of theoretical physics in the City College of New York and CUNY Graduate Center and he is the co-founder of string field theory.
