Bali once the serene paradise of Southeast Asia has become mainstream within the past 6 years! Due to Instagram, YouTube and other social media, Bali has faced a constant increase in tourism. Very different from my 1st trip in 2013, in 2019 during my 6th vacation, the island has become pretty crowded. Good News: There are similar alternatives to the very touristy hotspots, in which you still may enjoy the serene spirit of Bali!
