For my Presets visit: [ Ссылка ] I was chatting with Tom yesterday, and he was asking about how I use Spread Triads and try to make them sound less like moving up and down the scale with triad shapes, and more like the Eric Johnson kind of thing. I guess the simplest way to explain it is that the TOP note of the triad I'm thinking of as a melody note, and underneath that are 3 OPTIONS if you are playing diatonic major harmony (each triad is made of 3 notes, so any melody note could belong to any one of three spread triads).
This is kind of basic reharmonization or reharm or reharmonisation kind of stuff, so I thought it was worth discussing - and this is how I might practice this on a daily basis.
