If you want to build muscle at your full potential and get the best muscle growth response from your bodybuilding workouts, pre-workout cardio is something you should avoid. A brief warm up is fine, but avoid intense cardio as it will simply pre-fatigue you and reduce workout performance. Save cardio for after your training session, or just perform it on a different day. If achieving maximum hypertrophy is not your goal then it's really up to you, but if you want to gain muscle optimally then cardio before a workout is not ideal.
