Global Grad Show, the exhibition of innovation, inventions and technology from graduates across the world, returns to Dubai Design Week; held at d3 and open to the public. This year’s show will exhibit 145 projects from 50 leading design universities in 30 countries, making it the largest gathering of graduates and their work ever to take place.
Following in the footsteps of famed student inventions, such as the electron microscope from the University of Toronto, the television from the University of Berlin, and Google from Stanford, Global Grad Show will showcase thought-provoking projects that will create our future by the world’s next generation of design innovators.
EsCargo designed by Oscar Fehlberg (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia) is a zero emissions cargo motorcycle designed to move small-scale freight within congested urban streets. It proposes a shift in the way that we transport goods by reducing fossil fuel use and eliminating the need to build further infrastructure to maintain our current logistical model of large loads used by large vehicles. EsCargo has been designed to be flexible enough to allow a wide range of applications, including delivering mail, consumer goods or even fresh foods.
