A Must Have for Installing Hidden Fastener Trex Decking
I just finished installing a 265 sq foot deck using Trex deck boards and hidden fasteners. This tool was a lifesaver. Tap the board in place with a piece of scrap and use this tool to hold the fastener and board in place while you drive the screw into the joist. So easy. Because of this tool being able to hold the fastener with precision and the fasteners providing the perfect gap, my deck turned out perfect and square. It may seem pricey for a small plastic tool, but it's worth every penny.
