Extreme low temperatures in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region have created conditions for tourists there to enjoy fun in winter.
Temperatures in Inner Mongolia fell below minus 30 degrees Celsius in recent couple of days.
The cold brought ice and snow that were used to construct a park covering 100,000 square meters in the Manzhouli City of Hulun Buir.
"Each piece of ice sculpture here is crystal clear, and we can't see these in Beijing," said a tourist from China's capital city.
"I feel excited. It's my first time here and I found it well and beautiful," said a girl tourist.
Seventy-one racers from home and broad enjoyed a thrilling 10-kilometer match on a frozen river in Ergun City of Hulun Buir on Tuesday, with Chinese racers winning all the three titles.
Inner Mongolia launched a three-month winter sports camp for teenagers in Hulun Buir on December 22. One target of the event is to choose talents for winter events of China.
