It’s a HOT summer, for sure. So if your tomatoes aren’t ripening, the heat may be the reason. 🤔
My first summer in Houston, I planted tomatoes thinking that was the best time. When the tomatoes just hung on the vines and refused to turn color, I had to find out why 😑.
Little did I know it was actually too hot for tomatoes and I should’ve planted them in February instead 😮
All that to say-timing definitely matters in the garden, especially for fruiting plants. So if it’s super hot where you live, keep those tomatoes watered and wait out the heat wave.
This week we’re sharing the Kitchen Garden Styles ebook for free to inspire you and your own kitchen garden creation. You can get the ebook by heading to Gardenary.com
