⚪️Ingredients you will need:
Dough
160ml Milk, warm
8g Dry instant yeast
5ml Vanilla Extract
375-440g Flour
60g Sugar
5g Salt
1 Egg
2 Egg yolks
85g Butter
Strawberry Jam
350g Strawberries
100g Sugar
5ml Lemon Juice
Pinch of Salt

⚪️Instructions if you need it:
Step 1 -Dough
1.In a stand mixer fitted with the hook attachment, add all the ingredients except the butter
2.Be careful that the yeast doesn’t touch the salt or sugar before mixing
3.For the flour, start adding the smallest quantity written in the recipe and add more if necessary
4. Start mixing, and if the dough is too sticky add more flour
5. The dough should be soft but not sticking to the bowl nor your fingers
6. When the dough just started forming, add the room temperature cubes of butter until they are completely incorporated
7. In total you should have been mixing for about 5minutes
8. Knead on the counter until the dough becomes soft on top and becomes a little elastic : meaning if you gently pull on it it will not break immediately but stretch a bit
9. Form a ball and put it in a oiled bowl
10. Cover and let rise in a warm and humid place for 1h.
Step 2 - Strawberry Jam
1. Blend the strawberries into a puree
2. Put all the ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
3. Let it simmer until it is thick enough
4. Transfer in a bowl
5. Refrigerate
Step 3 - Shaping the donuts
1.After an hour, the dough should have doubled in size
2. Take it out of the bowl and roll it out to about 2cm thick
3. Use a 8-9cm ( 3-4inch) cookie cutter to cut into your dough
4. You should have about 10 donuts ( 12 if you reuse the scraps! )
5. Place them on a baking sheet and cover for another hour
Step 5 - Frying the donuts
1.Bring the canola oil to 350F
2. Fry the donuts on one side for 2-4 minutes or until it is golden
3. Flip it and fry for another 2-4 minutes
4. Let them cool down on a wire rack
Step 6 - Filling the donuts
1.Drill a hole in the donuts with a small knife
2. Put the strawberry jelly in a pastry bag
3. Fill the donuts until they become heavy
Step 7 - Finishing touch
1. Sprinkle powdered sugar on the donuts
2. Enjoy!
