Have you ever wondered, if the order of your Fuzz and Overdrive pedals makes a difference in sound? This video is to demonstrate how a fuzz sounds alone, before and after an overdrive. I have figured that it always makes sense to work around and experimetn with the order of pedals. Fuzzes can be pretty special as we know. My favorite order is OD into Fuzz.
00:00 - 01:57 Fuzz alone
01:58 - 02:08 Boost alone
02:09 - 03:41 Fuzz into Boost
03:42 - 05:21 Boost into Fuzz
Equipment used:
Fender Jimmie Vaughan Strat
Vemuram Jan Ray
Hybrid Fuzz
Two Rock Studio Pro 35
My name is Mikel and if there's one reason why I founded this channel, then it is because of my love for playing the guitar and everything that has to do with it.
During my younger years I have studied Jazz and songwriting.
I used to work in the musical branch for one of the biggest guitar manufacturers. During that time I had the chance to meet and play with a lot of people, such as Peter Green, Greg Koch and others. My main influences are Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rory Gallagher and Joe Bonamassa.
Most of the time I do pedal demos - don't we all love pedals?!? But hey, I also create lessons. I like to keep things natural and passionate, therfore I only record when inspiration stings me. The way I record is analog, I rarely use any software based amps.
I hope you enjoy your stay and you'll subscribe to my channel!
