Dominance, Submission and Communication (Dt. - s.u.). -- Observations of dominance behaviour in our local zoo today. Four male wolves patiently waiting for food until suddenly there is this little interaction... And poor "Goldie" is of course the one who is literally under the other wolves, notalbly under his two brothers, the "Little One/Klääner" and the acting alpha, "Whitey". And then, back to normal....
---Ein paar Beobachtungen von heute Nachmittag im Tiergarten Worms. Die ganze Zeit warten die vier Wölfe auf eine Fütterung, die doch nicht kommt, da heute "Fastentag" ist, bis es dann diese kurze Interaktion gibt: viel Dominanzverhalten, v.a. vom Kleinen und Whitey, und der arme Goldie ist natürlich wie immer derjenige, der mal wieder buchstäblich unter den anderen ist...
