Recipe
8 oz salted butter
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar(1 cup if you prefer)
6 eggs
1/2 juice of a lime
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups of all-purpose flour sifted
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Method
Cream butter and sugar until creamy
Add eggs one by one
Stir in lime juice and vanilla extract
Use a spatula to fold in sifted flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder, and nutmeg in parts until combined. Do not overmix!
Crease and floured baking pan well. I placed parchment paper to the bottom of my pan.
Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
I used a 10-inch cake pan.
