A 100% completion of Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold on the Veteran difficulty setting. As well as killing all enemies and collecting all points I will also keep every informant alive.

Such a great hot start here. For the longest time I used to just run straight ahead and start shooting. It was quite random how often I'd survive or get my health worn down and died. The fact the enemies would open doors and engage more enemies in the fight made it interesting. My new idea of going right seems to have really made things more survivable.

You don't need to shoot the star sentinal (purple guy) to get his weapon. You can work your way to the Plasma Discharge Unit and then pick up their machine guns. As I note .. don't try to go into the Star Sentinals from the other side .. they have a lot of health and a bigger gun than you most likely .. and there are five of them!

I move to the keycard room next as thats where I'm most likely to shoot and informant and ruin my demo. Sometimes they will walk just in front of you through the door, or beyond the plasma spheres and they will catch a stray bullet. Also its possible they will spawn to the sides limiting your options for combat there. I was quite happy after having that room cleared.

I quite enjoy turning the switchs and zapping the monsters! Expect to see more of that where I can. I got quite lucky on the splash damage with a plasma alien!

It was good to wrap it up where it started with those mutants by the elevator.
