2018 saw me visit Puerto Vallarta no fewer than THREE times in one summer, all to produce the behind-the-scenes material of three Mexican film production for the Pantelion group. The first was NO MANCHES FRIDA 2, a sequel to the comedy hit starring Omar Chaparro, Martha Higareda, Itatí Cantoral, plus a strong ensemble of rising young stars.

More like a glamorous summer camp trip instead of a normal BTS shoot, being part of team NMF 2 proved inspiring and relaxing simultaneously. The cast could not have been more excited to be gathered again for the second time. Even the power outages caused by the tail end of a hurricane did little to dampen their spirit. I think it shows in the interviews and B-Roll captured for this featurette. And you don't often get to sit with actors inside a spa location that rivals The White Lotus.
