This video features a scene from S Club's 2003 musical-comedy film "Seeing Double", also known as "S Club Seeing Double", directed by Nigel Dick. The plot is that an evil scientist is replacing pop stars with clones in order to take over the world through music, because pop stars attract more attention than politicians. In this scene, Jo, Bradley and Tina are playing the real Jo, Bradley and Tina, but Jon, Rachel and Hannah are playing the clones of Jon, Rachel and Hannah.
The source footage I used to create this video is from a DVD of the film that I own. I have added optional subtitles for the dialogue and the song lyrics. These can be activated and deactivated by simply clicking on the "CC" button beneath the video.
This song was written by Cathy Dennis and Simon Ellis. This track was produced by Cathy Dennis and Oskar Paul, and was released in 2000. The group who recorded it were S Club 7, but in the film clip you are seeing above, the group are S Club, who consisted of six of the seven members of S Club 7; Paul Cattermole had left. The lead vocals are by Jo O'Meara, and the rest of the credits are given in the liner notes of the single and on the Discogs website as follows:
