Sometimes when it’s rainy or gloomy outside, I start to feel a little slow and gloomy too, so I love being able to diffuse oils to boost my mood and my energy levels!
Citrus oils are invigorating, uplifting, and energizing. It’s like sunshine in a little bottle! Some of my favorites to diffuse are orange, lemon, lime, and grapefruit.
Floral oils are calming, soothing, and so gentle and can help relieve stress and anxious feelings. I like diffusing these with citrus oils to create an uplifting, soothing, peaceful atmosphere. Floral oils I diffuse include lavender, palmarosa, roman chamomile, rose, geranium, and ylang ylang.
Mint oils help create a fresh, clean atmosphere. They can help you wake up and feel alert and stay focused throughout the day. These blend well with citrus oils too! Some mints I like to diffuse include peppermint, spearmint, and bergamot mint.
If you have animals at home just remember that before diffusing, check to be sure your oils are safe to be used around pets! In general, animals are more sensitive to fragrances, including artificial scents from plug-ins and room sprays, and also essential oils.
