What's up guys! Sorry that it's been awhile since my last post but hey at least I'm here with a video now right!? Anyway, I decided to take a step away from such highly detailed story line concepts and stayed pretty straight forward and fun on this one because I needed that in my life. There's not much to this other than a few things:
*I love Eminem & this track
*Yes I know I'm not a rapper but I really enjoyed pretending to be a dancing version of one in this intro! (haha)
*I love Dancing & Choreographing
*I love Chicago
*and I hate bandwagoning most things in life.
Eminem raps in one of his lines "The question is are you bozos smart enough to feel stupid...hope so". Referring to him hoping that the people he is dissing are smart enough to know he's dissing them. (This is the part where I do a bozo buckets concept and miss haha.) —and I just thought this track was appropriate for me at the time because I've been TRYING (not completely successfully) to get my mind off my personal life & focus on other things & in doing so I've realized how many people tear down what I create, for no reason. So I chose this track to get a little bit of my frustration out with something that has a positive/inspiring impact on some people like a fun concept video. What a better way to express yourself with art instead of tearing people down right?
All I can hope that I inspire at least one person in any form from this video and any other video, that's what's important, INSPIRATION.
We shot this in 15 degree weather under the EL tracks in Chicago (that's why you can see our breath) and only got through 2 and 1/2 takes due to my bronchitis...but I saw my vision in my head and pushed through...so trust me if you guys want something you can get it! — that being said, thank you to every single person who helped out this video I know it was so cold but hopefully you enjoyed our deep dish pizza afterwards thank you guys. Thank you to these new beasts Noah Tratree & Trevor Takemoto for learning this in one day and shooting on unstable loose cardboard outside (the duct tape we brought to hold it down actually froze!) haha, and thank you to Commonless for making my visions come true every time.
Love you all & thank you in advance for every single comment, like, repost, anything you do to support me, I see & appreciate it all.
Love,
Ian Anthony Eastwood.
