Productive week end. Finally i had completed this project. This watch born from a Tudor Classic 38mm case that I had found from a watchmaker some month ago. It was used and beaten up, so I decided to restore it and use for built a custom watch. Re-polished, changed the gaskets and the broken crown tube and added a new bracelet. For the dial I decided to go for a Seamaster style because: first of all it's one of my favourite watch, second I think that the index shape match perfectly the shape of the milling on the bezel. For the hands i choose a classic snow flake handsest as recall to Tudor. Both dial and hands have yellow superluminova lume, for adding a touch of colour to the face. The movement is a brand new Eta 2824, exactly the same kind of movement that was originally in that case. I know it is such a hybrid watch, but I built it only for accomplish my personal taste...
For who will ask: Yes i could have sourced only tudor parts, yes I could have put a Tudor logo on the dial... but I didn't like the idea to build a "frankeistain" tudor, it's no more a Tudor, it's my new watch :D
