Kul-Sei or Kolsai Lakes are one of the most beautiful places in Kazakhstan, these are three green lakes filled with clear icy water of the river of the same name in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau at an altitude of 2000 m. Rainbow trout inhabit lakes, living only in spring or running water, and in the surrounding mountains you can meet marals, mountain goats and even bears.
