Crime Boss Caged For Flooding Buckinghamshire Town With Drugs.
A dad-of-two splashed out on boxes of designer goods and a Rolex watch after arranging the supply of “industrial” quantities of class A drugs from a rented semi-detached house near Milton Keynes.
Paul Daly pleaded guilty to conspiring to supply heroin, cocaine, cannabis and ketamine at Amersham Crown Court.
Daly's arrest was following a significant investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
Following the acquisition of Encrochat messages via the Operation Venetic operation, the user ‘Batspawn’ was identified as Paul Daly. Operation Venetic is the UK law enforcement response to the takedown of encrypted communications platform Encrochat.
Daly used the Encrochat network to lead an organised crime group in the supply of heroin, cocaine, cannabis and ketamine across the Milton Keynes area. The investigation into Daly ascertained that he operated the leading role between March 30 and June 3, 2020.
He was arrested on November 16 last year and charged the same day. The sentence consists of 17 years and six months for conspiring to supply cocaine.
