The battery on our Mercedes E500 started dying every two days. I used these methods to determine that the right front power seat was the circuit which had high power draw when the car was off. Then I removed the right front seat to access the power seat module wiring, cut the constant power wire and spliced it to the switched power wire, and taped it all up. Now the parasitic drain is gone (2.0 amps before fell to 0.16 amps) and the power seat still works when the key is on. You have to give up the ability to adjust the seat when the car is turned off but this eliminates a common problem in this class of Mercedes (and others with the same module) without spending hundreds replacing the module. I also show which fuse to remove if you don't want to apply the wire splice but just want to disable the power seat to eliminate the power drain.
