We are playing the newly released real-time strategy game Cossacks 3 and make our way through the Cossacks / Ukraine campaign “Cossacks Gain Fame”, as always on impossible difficulty. Fighting alongside the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth we encounter Tartar raiders and Sweden’s elite army, tackle the brave and hardy Russian troops of the Czar and try to stem ourselves against the Ottoman Empire and it’s masses of soldiers. Will we prevail?
Cossacks 3 simulates the warfare of the 17th and 18th century with huge numbers of units and massive real time battles and follows in the footsteps of its ancestor, Cossacks: European Wars, released back in 2000 and still beloved by strategy fans all around the world.
