Tiger Woods' much-anticipated comeback to the PGA Tour ended on a sour note as the golf legend was forced to withdraw from The Genesis Invitational due to illness. The disappointing development through the first six holes and during the seventh, Woods had no choice but to exit the event he annually hosts after facing multiple emergency bathroom runs. At one point, the 48-year-old was seen bent over a cooler in agony. His abrupt departure via a golf cart from the fairway marked a somber conclusion to the tournament. Notably, Woods, who struggled in the open, found himself at 2-over at the time of his untimely exit.
