Ingredients for Rice Pinni
Rice Flour - चावल का आटा - 1 Cup (150 grams)
Full Cream Milk - दूध - 1/2 Litre
Desiccated Coconut - नरियल बुरादा - 1/2 Cup
Desi Ghee - घी - 1/4 Cup (60 grams)
Green Cardamom - छोटी इलाइची - 1/2 tsp, coarsely ground
Almond Flakes - बादाम कतरन - 2 tbsp
Pistachio Flakes - पिस्ता कतरन - 2 tbsp
Raisin - किशमिश - 2 tbsp, chopped
Tagar - बूरा - 1/2 Cup (75 grams)
Jaggery - गुड़ - 1/2 Cup (80 grams)
How to prepare Rice Pinni?
1. Take 1 cup of rice flour and roast it till it becomes aromatic.
2. Pour 1/2 liter full-cream milk in a Kadai and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
3. After the milk comes to a boil, turn the flame low to medium and simmer it till it becomes dense.
4. Once the rice becomes aromatic, turn the heat low and add 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut.
5. Roast coconut with rice flour for 2 mins. Turn off the flame after 2 minutes, add 4 tbsp of ghee and mix well.
6. Once the consistency of the milk is similar to rabadi, add it to the roasted flour and mix well.
7. Add 1/2 tsp of coarsely crushed cardamom powder, 2 tbsp of almond flakes, 2 tbsp of pista flakes, 2 tbsp of chopped raisins, and mix well.
8. Divide the mixture into halves equally. Add 1/2 cup of boora to one halve and prepare sugar pinni.
9. Take less than 1/2 cup of jaggery and prepare one-string consistency syrup.
10. Mix the syrup in the other half of the mixture and prepare Jaggery Pinni
