Welcome to the Julia-Ann Square Historic District, an important center in West Virginia early history. Julia-Ann Square is the largest and oldest historic district in West Virginia and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
Located in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Julia-Ann Square is a community of approximately 126 homes near downtown, and includes some of the finest examples of Victorian architecture in the state.
The majority of the district’s structures are in the Second Empire, 19th century eclectic and Queen Anne styles and date from c. 1850 to 1910.
