After a rather lengthy pause at Soldier Bar to conduct landing and takeoff challenges, we are back on our Idaho Backcountry tour as we leave Big Creek behind and join the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. We jump in the Twin Otter and tackle 3 challenging strips: stop 41 Bernard USFS where we'll have to wind through a canyon and drop in with little room for margin. After that, we'll make possibly the world's shortest flight as we jump up over the river and a small hill to drop immediately into stop 42 Flying B Ranch. After that, well make our last let for the day as we weave through more terrain along the Middle Fork and approach stop 43 Lower Loon Creek on the razor edge of stall speed. More beautiful Idaho Backcountry Flying, enjoy!
