Hi YouTube! What's harder than a no-hit run? Well, a Soul Level 1 no-hit run, of course! The punishment is real, because for this challenge Hob is not allowed to level up his character at all! Plus, he has to beat the game without getting hit by any enemy or boss! But with the help of the community (and a bit of luck) Hob actually managed to do it quite quickly!

This video is the complete run, originally streamed on Twitch.

The rules for the run are as follows:
- You cannot level up your character
- You can't die, with the exception of the scripted death by Seath in Duke's Archives
- You can't be hit by any enemy
- You can't be hit by any boss
- You can't be hit by objects causing damage (like traps in Sen's Fortress)
- You can't be hit by environmental damage (lava, lightning)
- Magic is not allowed (no spells, buffs or magic attacks)
- Blocking hits with a shield is not allowed (as it counts as a hit)
- Successfully parrying an attack is allowed (the enemy doesn't directly hit the player)
- Taking fall damage is allowed, so falling off cliffs or stairs is okay, dying because of the fall is not
- Taking damage from certain items is allowed (Symbol of Avarice, Dusk Crown Ring)
- Taking poison damage from the environment is allowed in Blighttown

These rules make it possible to beat Dark Souls, since some of the exceptions are needed to complete the game.
