As RCEP countries largely overcame the COVID-19 pandemic, progress has been made in the world's largest trade agreement as well. The deal's 15 signatory nations, including China, not only completed market access negotiations, but also a review of over 14,000 pages of legal text. China's commerce ministry says the signing marks a milestone for economic integration in the Asia Pacific region.
