“Running is bad for your knees” is something I hoped was working out of our vocabulary, but a runner I saw today was told this exact myth.
Whilst often perceived as bad for your knees, regular running does not increase the risk of developing knee osteoarthritis, & may actually be beneficial for long-term knee health.
🙋🏼♂️Runners, who has been told this before?
🗣Let’s spread the word, share, & let all your running friends know that running will not wear their knees out!
