This video gives a short introduction to PG Instruments Limited and then details two methods of analysing the hydride forming elements namely arsenic, selenium, antimony, tellurium, lead, tin and mercury with the PG Instruments ICP5000DV. The first method uses the Hydra-Mist which allows the analysis of hydride forming elements and other elements such as copper, boron, magnesium etc simultaneously.
The second method of hydride analysis is with a dedicated micro peristaltic pump. Both methods give an enhanced level of detection for the hydride forming elements.
