Ingredients
• Beans (Brown/Black eyed) - 3 cigar cups | approx. 750g
• Red Palm Oil -- to your preferred colour
• Onions -- 1 medium sized bulb
• Pepper & Salt to taste
• Seasoning -- 1 stock cube
• 500g Yam
Some people add crayfish to beans porridge but I don't like that in my beans.
The following are other foods that can be used to cook Nigerian Beans Porridge
• Plantains (ripe or unripe)
• Sweet/Irish potatoes
• Baby Corn
