Brinjal - 250 gms cut into pieces lengthwise

Green chilly - 2
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Red chilly powder- 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder- 2 teaspoons
Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Water - 1glass
Coconut milk - 1 glass
Salt to taste

Seasoning :
Oil -2 tablespoons
Mustard seeds
Fenugreek seeds -10 nos
Whole dried red chilly -2 nos
Curry leaves- optional
Shallots - 6-8 nos
Red chilly powder- a pinch
