I actually created this recipe in a dream. I woke up, wrote it down, and then went back to sleep. The next day I bought a duck. This video is the end result. The plum wine gives the sauce a slightly sweet flavor that goes well with the duck. The carrots were also part of the dream, but I grilled them for the video rather than steam them. They look great and also go well with the duck. In my dream I insisted the duck meat be served over noodles, not rice, but feel free to serve it the way you think you'll enjoy it most.
