The Olympic Park in London’s East End forms the legacy of the city’s success at hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, formally the Games of the XXX Olympiad and commonly known as London 2012. The Park signifies the significant, purposeful and continued gentrification/regeneration of London’s East End and was built on contaminated and industrial land. The Park is open 24 hours a day.
